Smoothie Recipes

I love creating healthy & delicious smoothie recipes–here are a few of my tried and true favorites!

Banana Fig Smoothie: mildly sweet and tastes like a mix of peach and strawberry!

Ingredients
-1 frozen banana (if not frozen, toss in a few ice-cubes)
-5 frozen organic whole figs (I used the kind from Trader Joes)
-1 cup of spinach
-1 tsp of chia seeds
-1 tbls of hemp seed hearts
-about 1 cup of coconut water (use a little more or less depending on liquid preference)

Cacao/ Banana Protein Blast: satisfy your chocolate craving and load up on protein with this tasty smoothie!

Ingredients:

-1 cup of greens
-1 tsp of chia seeds
-1 tbls of hemp seed hearts
-1 tbls of unsweetened cocoa powder
-1 tbls of protein powder
-1 tbls of raw almond butter
-about 1 cup of vanilla almond milk  (use a little more or less depending on liquid preference)
